Rafter- Juicy
Found this awesome video b Dax Norman. The animation is sick and the song is pretty good. Yay for finding new music!
haha but I must say, the original music video kicks ass as well. Especially when the balloon man comes out.

Wierd looking sharks
Goblin sharks look funky.. cause goblins look gross. (This buckethead song, however, kicks ass)
Speaking of weird looking sharks, I wonder if this shark is actually real.. because that would be awesome.

PURPLE POLAR BEAR AND PINK DOLPHINS
OMGOSH. Her name is Pelusa and her fur turned purple after treatment for some skin condition! Weird how the side effects of some treatments and medical/scientific solutions turn animals into super dope creatures. A little creepy..( like how acidicly green the AMP energy drink is..) but fascinating! (plus, i love amp)
oh, and take a look at this pink dolphin found in a Louisiana lake. Apparently, there's a bunch in the Amazonian rivers as well.
Glow in the dark dogs and cats (not to mention fish), purple polar bears, pink dolphins, whats next?? As you can see, I love looking at bizzare nature. Oh how I love it so.
10 strangest creatures to ever die
like this Pristerongnathus (part dog, part dinosaur), the dodo bird, and something called the Parapropalaehoplophorus septentrionalis

dinosaurs in 1186? or prank?
A carving found in Cambodia implicates that dinosaurs (specifically a stegosaurus) could have been alive in 1186.. and maybe even now! Yayy for dinos!... buut if it's all a prank, thennn kudos to whoever pulled it off. Cause that'd be a pretty good prank.
Gosh, I want to go to Cambodia so bad.
(The second article is awesome. Not only does it mention the possible existance of this stego-babe, but it includes all the creates other fantastic mythical creatures of Angkor and other areas!
And the pictures from the fourth site are just amazing. Ahhh I can't wait to be able to travel and explore!)

MGMT- The Youth
So after I posted the last blog, I explored more clips on Eric Wareheim's Vimeo and noticed this wonderful clip. Here are some reasons on to which I'm so infatuated with it:
1. I love sequins and glitter. (Who doesn't love sparkles?)
2. It's in a disco setting.
3. I love the 80's
4. Those kids are awesome.
5. I love sequins.
Anyway.. I can keep going on but I'm gonna stop cause the video says it.

laserbeams out of eyes and nipples
So I happen to stumble upon this crazy video this morning: The very morning after the BROUHAHA spectacular. I'm so happy I had the laser lights going. Hopefully we can post up the photos soon and then the clip of the show. But for now, watch this.. It might give you a sense of some of the things I was aiming for with Hypnagogiactic. loll but with much prettier people.. and taste.
It's definately a good laugh though.

animals reacting to farts...
http://www.urlesque.com/2009/03/26/animals-reacting-to-farts-videos/
I can't believe I just spent like the past 15 min watching these videos... Honestly, I'm suspicious of something horribly evil in the sound of a fart. Animals seem to be able to detect it like a sixth sense. I mean, they can see ghosts can't they?
I'm such a loser.

Alexander McQueen Spring 2009
"The world is spinning out of control. What a perfect planet for Alexander McQueen's fashion show"
/MINE. So inspirational. I saw this after my Delirium collection and was surprised at how similar it was, but way more classy and professional. I want to head towards that direction this semester!
BUSBY BERKELY IS AWESOME
He's been so inspirational for the performance part of my collection. The kaleidoscopic visuals he produces with his dancers are phenomenal, not to mention the garments!

commencement
So this is my first blog entry, in my very own very first blog. I'm a second semester senior at Maryland Institute College of Art. Fibers Major. Experimental Fashion concentration. It's taking me a long time to start this blog off because I seem to always be hesitant and unconfident (if that's actually a word) when giving an introduction. And then I think about it too much. I'm good at just kinda tumbling into things, so maybe that's what I'll do. The entries will probably start making sense as a whole later on. haha. So I'll attach some pictures for now, to give you a sense of what I've been working on this semester. These pictures come from a collaboration with friend, painter, film-maker, Aaron Young. Fun psychedelic patterns and dancing blow up dolls. Judy and John were great models. But really, this is just a sneak preview of my next whacky fashion collection for the BROUHAHA Experimental Spring Fashion show April 25th. So stay tuned!!
